I keep trying without success to convince women to get some defensive training, and I keep trying without success to convince men to get some defensive training. The big difference is that men without formal training are somehow convinced they can defend themselves. It is just terrible that young women are not encouraged on all fronts to defend themselves and all of their rights as a person. It is almost impossible to get even one person to sign up for a self defense course. And yet sexual assaults against women, kidnappings, and domestic violence are all increasing. The biggest fight of all is getting people to change their views on this topic.
